چکیده

The biogas fermentation from animal manure and organic waste was investigated with a comparison percentage of raw material used inside the digester anaerobic digestion process. Animal consists cow dung chicken manure, while tofu liquid cabbage waste. This study batch process that operated at 55 °C incubator temperature for 90 days. results experimental data were predicted modified Gompertz model first-order kinetic model. equation to predict production is cumulative methane; P∞ = methane potential; Rm maximum specific speed production; λ lag phase period or minimum time produce biogas; e math constant (2.7182) t time. Y Ym (1-exp(-k). highest yield obtained by variable 3 in both studies compared 70% dung, 15% Gompertz's three would 3273.20 mL/g total solid (TS). In comparison, 3517.95 mL/(g Ts).

Evaluation of biogas production potential by dry anaerobic digestion of switchgrass--animal manure mixtures.

Anaerobic digestion is a biological method used to convert organic wastes into a stable product for land application with reduced environmental impacts. The biogas produced can be used as an alternative renewable energy source. Dry anaerobic digestion [>15% total solid (TS)] has an advantage over wet digestion (<10% TS) because it allows for the use of a smaller volume of reactor and because it...

Anaerobic Treatment and Biogas Production from Organic Waste

Organic wastes under consideration are of natural origin that possess biochemical characteristics ensuring rapid microbial decomposition at relatively normal operating conditions. When considering the organic waste treatment we have generally in mind organic mineralization, biological stabilisation and detoxification of pollutants. Most common organic wastes contain compounds that are mainly we...

2. Production of Biogas by Anaerobic Digestion

Anaerobic digestion is a natural process in which bacteria convert organic materials into biogas. It occurs in marshes and wetlands, and in the digestive tract of ruminants. The bacteria are also active in landfills where they are the principal process degrading landfilled food wastes and other biomass. Biogas can be collected and used as a potential energy resource. The process occurs in an an...

Two-Staged Wet Anaerobic Digestion of Landfill Leachate and Organic Waste: The Effect of Organic Waste Type on Biogas Production

In this study, five different experiments were conducted over a period of 170 days to produce biogas by using a variety of mixtures of organic materials and landfill leachate. The aim of this study is to develop a more robust two-stage biogas plant that can accept a wide spectrum of waste products and continue to function without any malfunction. The facility has 5m3 total digester volume, with...
